 Layout Update!

First of all, this page finally has a header graphic with my site logo! Hooray!!

Secondly, you've already seen me use these emotes: etc. etc.

But I felt I was missing something for a deviant Art / livejournal style of blogging where you have a cute little mood/music/drink/etc. indicator. (You might have noticed I put one above, and also added some retroactively to my previous blog posts!) But I didn't want to use the same emotes as I use within the text of the blog, and I almost decided on some kaomoji style ones, but then I remembered Strong Sad's Lament on Homestar Runner!

The first thing I did was obviously to re-read the whole thing and laugh. It's a really funny parody of the type of useless blog updates a certain kind of boring person makes (which is totally unlike this useless blog update, yessiree) while also being a funny addition to the in-universe "lore"* for Strong Sad. If you find a few hidden links, you can see some secret pages with the brothers Strong as kids. (Flash format, of course, so it's a little harder to access these days without just straight up downloading the .swf files) There's a lot of jokes that went over my head when I was younger, especially with the musical choices in each entry.

The second thing I did was download all 7 emotes in the files for the site, made them transparent (Annoyingly, they all had white backgrounds), and slapped them into my own site's files! I'm sure the Brothers Chaps won't mind me using their graphics, especially considering I'm going to be buying so much of their merch the next time I have spare cash. Oh man do I want those Homestar and Strong Bad plushies. Oh man do I want to make them kiss

Anyway, yeah. Teeny little blogpost just to say I finally made this page not hideous. Oh, and I also updated my /info page. ...Not that I actually added any more useful info to it, just that I made it less ugly. Which is also an accomplishment, I think.

Okay, bye!!!
