L4D2 GMod Posters

Starting out with my first genuine attempt at a GMod poster in several years, haha. I know it's not the best, very obviously a beginner's work, but I still think it came out cute. I like how goofily-giddy Ellis' expression ended up, and how Nick looks like he's trying to pretend to be annoyed. (I also used this for the album cover to my Nellis fanmix, which will be on the L4D2 Music page whenever I get around to posting that...)


The reverse angle is a little nicer, since it hides the awkward posing. Gives it more of a wistful vibe, I guess. I think it's sorta romantic. <3

These two sets of poses I like a lot better than the ones on the gazebo. I love having Nick in the more... I guess for lack of a better term... "Uke" pose. Like he's finally able to let himself be vulnerable with Ellis, and not in that usual cool, uncaring, aloof sort of facade that he puts up 99% of the time. Maybe it's slightly OOC, but in my opinion it works. I think he should be able to be soft on occasion, as a treat.
Also very very satisfied with the kiss behind the brim of the hat pose. I'm a huge sucker for obfuscated kisses in the framing of images. (And it also means I didn't have to tackle the insurmountable task of actually posing a kiss in GMod.) This was also used to make the fujoshi Witch & Spitter meme on the Scrapbook page, which I think is hilarious.
